Guest Bathroom Upgrades

So our guest bathroom has been updated for a short while but I've always forgotten to take pictures of it in natural light. And honestly, I can't take credit for the tile, fixtures or wall color. I just bought some cute things from Hobby Lobby, Michael's, vintage fair, and then some of them I made! Woohoo!

Towel rack and shelf from Hobby Lobby with some potpourri and a twig ball from Hobby Lobby.

The "wash your hands and say your prayers..." sign came from a vintage fair back in Southern Maryland. The jars and fake plants came from Michael's. I felt they added some color and freshness to the room.

So the sign below is from the old barnwood that my mother-in-law gave me. I had to scratch off the red paint with a wire brush and then I lightly painted it with watered down AS Paris Grey. Then I used AS Old White to paint on the words. I didn't seal it with anything because I wasn't sure how wax or polyurethane would react to the old wood.

I hope you recognize the duck basket! What's up next, our bedroom! Redoing the house...one room at a time!
